thegoodnews. is a hip hop band led by hip-hop luminary Del The Funky Homosapien, presented primarily in cartoon form. Founded by Del along with producer CTZN, rapper Po3 and illustrator Pete Cosmos, the group first began to coalesce during Deltron 3030âs Event 2 tour, eventually finding their sound working with guitar and pedal wizard Taka Tozawa along with bass and FX guru Juan Alderete (Mars Volta, Dr. Octagon, Mac Miller, Anderson .Paak, Domo Genesis, etc). Now, thegoodnews. is introducing their odd-ball universe with the new picture-disc vinyl EP This Just In!, a lush realization of the collectiveâs unique style powered by Del The Funky Homosapienâs outlandish creativity.
